You’ll notice that there are some changes to the community forum, beginning today.

Kathy’s recent post, which represented her sincere effort to provide some information – was not as well received as we would have hoped. But it’s just the continuation of a pattern that’s emerged: people on this forum criticize us when there isn’t enough information, then they criticize the information when it comes. And each time, the criticism comes along with misinformation and accusation, some of which – frankly – borders on slander, by people who have absolutely no idea what they’re talking about, or what we face every day.

And each time there’s a storm on the user group, it’s a distraction that takes some combination of Lou, Kathy and me away from what we need to be working on, as we try and figure out what to say. And so today we’re saying, “enough”, and putting an end to it. Starting today, this forum will be specifically and only about helping one another use SundayPlus more effectively – solving problems, new and creative uses of the program, tips and tricks, etc. – in other words, it will be what it was meant to be all along.

Contrary to the sometimes paranoid speculations that have occasionally appeared here, we’ve not edited, censored or deleted people’s posts in the past. That’s changing today, as we refocus the bbs from a vitriolic town meeting back to something that helps all of us instead.
